Job Duties: Maintain and execute the Company’s audit plan and policies. Develop effective process improvement actions for implementation by management. Administer follow-up processes to ensure corrective actions and process improvements are implemented. Support the risk assessment, design, and testing execution of the Company’s internal controls framework. Contribute to the organization by strengthening risk mitigation efforts and building partnerships with process owners within the business. Assist with maintaining the Company’s internal controls assessment policies and procedures including review of narrative documentation and annual risk assessment/audit planning. Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls by performing audit procedures in accordance with audit objectives and audit programs. Develop conclusions based on objective evidence and formulate recommendations to address control weaknesses. Make valuable contributions to and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the audit function by leading best practices for standards and procedures. Work with outside auditors to support the external audit function. Provides team members with guidance and feedback and actively engages in coaching and mentoring with internal scoping, planning, and administration, including maintenance of process documentation, planning memos, risk and control matrices, testing plans, and execution testing of key internal controls in conjunction with the annual test plan. Review and update company internal procedures and ensure strict compliance and adherence.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting + 1 yr experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting + 5 yrs exp. Accounting or Auditor experience must be in the manufacturing & distribution environment.
